Carla creates hand-silvered architectural art mirrors.

 

Using hand silvering and Verre Églomisé gilding techniques, she explores themes of built and natural environments creating pieces that both reflect and entice, always playing with the balance between utility and abstraction.

Carla is a multidisciplinary artist/designer with over 20 years of experience designing and executing decorative glass installations for global and local clientele. 

 

These days, she lives and works on S,DÁYES (Pender Island), the traditional and current lands of the WSÁNEĆ peoples.
