Carla creates hand-silvered architectural art mirrors for luxury interiors

 

using hand silvering and Verre Églomisé gilding techniques. She explores themes of the built and natural environments creating pieces that both reflect and entice, always playing with the balance between utility and abstraction.

Carla is a multidisciplinary artist/designer. During her time at a global design firm in Vancouver, Carla designed and created numerous large scale luxury installations for clientele in London, Dubai, L.A. and Vancouver. 

 

These days, she lives and works on S,DÁYES (Pender Island), the traditional and current lands of the WSÁNEĆ peoples.
